Our Mission
The mission of the Main Impact Federal Credit Union is to provide services to improve the economic and social well-being of its members by providing financial services, while maintaining a degree of equity that assures its safety and continuous operation as a financial institution.
Our MAIN priority is making a positive IMPACT on our members and the community we serve.
Our History
Originally chartered in February 1978 as MSU Federal Credit Union to serve the faculty and staff of Murray State University. In 2000, employees of Murray Independent School District and the Calloway County School District were added to our membership . Then in 2001, employees of Murray-Calloway County Hospital were added in 2001.
In November 2023, Main Impact Federal Credit Union completed the conversion to a Community Charter, making membership open to all who live, work, worship, or attend school in Calloway County. The ground breaking on the new location at 1312 Main Street, is coming soon and expect to be moved in late 2024.
